A founding member of the Arrowhead Wild Ones Chapter, Carol first became interested in landscaping with native plants in 1996 when she attended a workshop on the subject hosted by a local conservation group. Carol found the combination of gardening and native plants a perfect way to combine her interest in the environment and enjoyment of gardening. While serving in several positions with Wild Ones National, Carol also works as a registered environmental engineer with Barr Engineering, a consulting firm that specializes in, among other things, water-resource management and sustainable-landscaping design.
